Subcommittee on Human Rights will hold on Monday 13th of September its first meeting of the autumn term. The Committee will discuss the upcoming review of the UN Human Rights Council, human rights situation in Colombia, the release of political prisoners from Cuba, the controversial amendment to penal code of Tunisia and prison conditions in Kazakhstan.

[:]This autumn the Subcommittee will discuss human rights in the Western Balkans, death penalty, situation in prisons in Syria, Lebanon, Israel and Palestine, elimination of violence against women as well as human rights situation in Tunisia, Mexico, Russia and China.
