The delegation will travel to Beslan to take part in the commemoration of the tragedy of Beslan hostage crisis on 1-3rd of September.[:]
The delegation will meet with several governmental and non-governmental human rights organizations during their visit. They will also observe the trial of Mikhail Khodorkovsky and the Article 31 demonstration on the 31st of August in Moscow.
The delegation consist of Heidi Hautala, Chair of the Subcommittee on Human Rights, Laima Liucija Andrikienė, Vice-Chair of the committee and Thijs Berman, Member of the Subcommittee.
