A few days ago Heidi Hautala voiced her concern regarding Abbas Hosseini’s death penalty. According to news release from Amnesty International the execution has now been postponed. This is of course very welcome news but only a complete withdrawal of the death penalty would be a satisfactory result in this case where the alleged crime was committed when Hosseini was under 18.
