Heidi Hautala appointed as minister

 Heidi Hautala was appointed as the Minister for International Development in the Finnish government on 22 June 2011. She will also be in charge of the state ownership policy. Her ministerial duty started immediately.
 
Ms. Tarja Cronberg, former Minister of Labour and a member of the Finnish Parliament, replaces Hautala in the European Parliament.
