Chairwoman Heidi Hautala met the Ambassador of Serbia Ms Roksanda Nincic on 14.10.2009 to discuss human rights issues in Western Balkans. Main focus of the discussion was the situation of refugees and displaced people in the area. Subcommittee on Human Rights will discuss human rights in Western Balkans soon and invitation was presented to the Ambassador Nincic to attend the session. Ms Hautala was invited to attend the International Regional Conference on “Durable Solutions for Refugees – Obligations and Cooperation in the Region in the Process of European Integrations” in Belgrade on 10 November.
