The Greens/EFA group of the European Parliament has published a new study: “Spillover effects of EU supply chain legislation – perspectives from third countries”.
The EU’s package of supply chain related legislation have taken significant steps forward during the past years, notably the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) and Forced Labour Regulation in the pipeline, as well as national due diligence laws of EU member states. EU supply chain legislation has indirect effects beyond EU’s borders, casting a spotlight on global supply chains and prompting a shift in corporate culture and accountability worldwide.
