European Coordination of Committee and Associations for Palestine (ECCP), 7.10.2009

Chairwoman Hautala met the ECCP to discuss the situation in Gaza. Of great concern to the ECCP are the settlements and difficulties in access to Gaza and most acutely the decision by the Human Rights Council to postpone the resolution on report of Goldstone Fact-Finding Mission on Gaza conflict. It was stressed that EU must take clear position on the report and lend its full weight behind the recommendations of the report.
